I went into the city Tuesday June 7 2011. It was a change in scenery. The mosiac of people was primarily straight. Lesbians were rarer in city. They were still teeming to the brim in the small town.
The workforce in the city had no time for fancy indulgence in gaiety. People milling around in the lunchtime crowd meant business even as they broke bread for lunch. They are eyes and ears open for possible networking opportunities. They were not creepy stalkers like those in the small town. City people were respectable eavesdroppers waiting to chip in should you wish them to.
