The security guard patrolling the club pool accosted a pool user. He had a mini show down with the user and her posse of two family members.

Mr Guard explained, “A fully clothed person is banned from dipping the legs into the pool while another in a swimsuit is allowed to sit by the pool and dangle the legs into the water.”

“What’s the difference?” asked a miffed family member.

Mr Guard puffed up his chest to launch into a lengthy explanation. “The swimsuit clad person is not washing the feet in the pool while the clothed person is accused of cleaning the feet in the swimming pool. That’s because the swimmer has to take a drenching shower by the side of the pool before entering the pool.”

The parting shot was delivered. “Those are the house rules,” and with that, he tactfully left.

Presumably, that cleans the feet sufficiently and when that person sits by the side of the pool, she/ he can dangle the feet into the water without the pool security raising objections.

Wow. Does that make sense?
